On July 1, 2018 the job registration requirement is in power. It applies only for types of occupation with a trigger level of 8 % unemployment. As of January 1, 2020 the trigger level will be reduced to 5 %.
The new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will enter into force on 25 May 2018 across the entire European Union (EU). In many cases, this regulation may also apply to companies headquartered in Switzerland.
